TechEd is an annual conference for developers and IT professionals put on by Microsoft. It is held in several locations around the world. The conference holds an event, Speaker Idol, during which the attendees, mainly IT professionals, are invited to speak about a subject of their choice. The best speaker wins a prize. The design solution here is a nod to the reality show, ‘Pop Idol’, and presents four characters with different personalities and facial emotions. 
An amusing way to present a very technical brand event.
